NO, the enemy is not perfect. The only one who can be perfect is God. Jesus is perfect, Jesus is God. God has seen the end from the beginning (Isaiah 46:10). God knows what is going to happen, the enemy can only guess. That is why the enemy cannot tell us perfectly what is going to happen in the future. The enemy is not a perfect being either. The enemy were all created by God and through their rebellion against God proved that they were not perfect, nor that they have perfect knowledge of the future. What being would choose the way that surely leads to death, an eternal separation from God and an existence that will continue in the lake of fire forever? If the enemy were perfect then they would know the future, have no fear of the future, and would be like God. They are not like God, nor will they ever be. There is nothing that they can do to gain perfection or make themselves any more perfect, they are not capable of that. They are not capable of escaping the punishment that has been proclaimed by God for them and those who follow them. It will not matter if we choose to consciously follow them or just follow them out of ignorance. If we do not choose to follow Jesus, believe in God, and obey Him, then we will be punished along with the enemy forever.
